SIXTH SUNDAY OF EASTER: Pray for the Seekers

Scripture: Acts 16:9-15

WHOM DO YOU know who is like Lydia—open, desiring, and seeking spiritual truth? They may practice their spirituality in ways that are foreign to you, but ask God to help you see past whether they are doing it “rightly” or “wrongly.” Instead, ask to see the seekers in your life as God sees them: as people who are hungry, thirsty, and looking for truth. Pray earnestly for them by name this week, asking that, like Lydia, the full truth of the gospel would be revealed to them. Don’t take it upon yourself to do more than pray, but be open if the Spirit asks you to be a messenger of the gospel as Paul was.

Have a blessed week!
