Scripture: Matthew 3:13-17

EVERY MORNING THIS week, pull your mind into wakefulness by thinking of God’s love for and approval of you. Spend a few moments soaking in your grace-given identity before you have opportunity to do anything else. Just as Jesus heard his Father’s words of affirmation before he performed a single miracle, allow God to remind you this week that you are loved before you tackle your to-do list, or even brush your teeth. You may want to leave a sticky note or some kind of written reminder beside your bed to help with this practice.
