Speak Peace to Fear

Scripture: John 20:19-31

EVEN AFTER JESUS’ resurrection, his disciples were filled with fear. Each time Jesus comes to them he greets them with, “Peace!” The greatest thing to fear is death, but resurrection has even rendered that powerless. A life of resurrection carries peace, even in places of fear. This week, notice where there is fear in your home, in your workplace, in your neighborhood, and even within yourself. Ask the Holy Spirit to speak peace to you and to enable you to speak peace to others.
