THIRD SUNDAY IN LENT
Asking for Help
Scripture: John 4:5-42
WE HAVE A Savior who was not afraid to be vulnerable. When he needed time away, he took it. When he was lonely, he asked his friends to be with him. When he was thirsty, he asked for a drink. We can admit our vulnerability too. This week, ask others to help you. You might need to borrow something from a neighbor, ask someone to reschedule a meeting if you’re too busy, or simply respond honestly if someone asks you if you need help carrying something to your car. If ever you find it difficult to ask or to admit your need for help, take that as a cue for conversation with God. Ask what you can learn about yourself and about grace.
Have a blessed week!
