Sermon Title: “Celebrating Hope”
Weekly Practice
PRACTICING RESURRECTION
Be a Person of Peace
“For Christ himself has brought peace to us. He united Jews and Gentiles into one people when, in his own body on the cross, he broke down the wall of hostility that separated us.”
Ephesians 2:14, NLT
THE WALLS THAT divide us by political party, race, language, socioeconomic standing, and ideology are easy to build and maintain. But the peace of Christ breaks down these barriers, and we are invited into this work of peacemaking as well. This week, be a person of peace by consciously looking for, working toward, and celebrating peace everywhere you go. If you hear or read a divisive conversation, work to steer it toward peace. When you are offended, pray first that Jesus would bring you peace and enable you to bring that peace to others.
Have a blessed week!
