SIXTH SUNDAY OF EASTER: Love Feast

Scripture: John 15:9-17

AN ANCIENT TRADITION of the church is the Love Feast: a gathering of believers around good food, with no other purpose than to love and enjoy one another. This week, plan a Love Feast with some friends in your home, at your church, or at a favorite restaurant. It doesn’t have to be fancy, but it does need to be done with intention. One of the ways we love one another is by sharing food, so invite each person to bring (or pay for) a favorite dish to share with the group. As you eat together, use the conversation to encourage one another. If this is a group that knows one another well, you may even invite people to share what they love about each person. Above all, enjoy!
