Sermon Title: “A Transforming Trickle”
Weekly Practice
TRINITY SUNDAY
Five Names
Scripture: Matthew 28:16-20
THIS WEEK, WE will practice Jesus’s Commission to make disciples by praying for people who do not yet know the hope of life with Christ. Spend some time prayerfully creating a list of five names of people whom you know are not living abundant life with God. Once a day, pray with your list for five minutes, spending at least one minute on each name. Pray that God would reveal himself to them, that they would know they are loved, and that they would find freedom in Christ. As you pray, be open to hear ways that the Spirit may ask you to write a note, send an invitation, or initiate a conversation with someone you pray for. But do not feel pressure to do anything besides pray; remember that the Spirit is the one who reveals, teaches, and convicts.
Have a blessed week!
